The beginning
Signature began the way many good builders do — on the supply side of the work.
Peter Zakhary entered the construction industry selling concrete and block to local builders, learning the trade from the ground up and from the people doing it.
He founded Signature in 2004 and began building large custom homes in Clermont and West Orlando. Today he brings more than 28 years of construction experience to every project.
Over the years the company grew into additions, renovations and kitchen and bath remodels across Clermont, Ocoee, Oakland and Winter Garden — roughly 75% of it performed by our own people, and almost all of it won by referral.
The mission stayed simple: quality, integrity and excellence in every project.

Peter's experience spans the full range of home building and home improvement, and he stays personally involved with the people he builds for — from the first conversation through the final walkthrough.
He doesn't sign off until the work exceeds your expectations — and his own. That is what "Signed by Pete" means. What he enjoys most is the turn from idea to finished home: the moment a family walks through a space they described months earlier and recognizes it.
